My Heart Attack Saved My Life
She was too busy to notice the signs… until her heart made her stop.
This month at EmpowerHER Networking, we welcome Susan Smith, a WomenHeart Champion and author of My Heart Attack Saved My Life… But for What, for a life-changing conversation that every woman needs to hear.
On a day packed with to-dos and obligations, Susan felt a few odd symptoms—nothing serious, she thought. Do you know the symptoms to notice?
But hours later, she was in the ER with a heart attack that nearly took her life.
Her story is a powerful wake-up call for women who are always “on,” always taking care of others, and always putting themselves last.
